Sometimes photography isn`t about creating something that wasn`t there... it`s about revealing something that was.
One of my favourite moments from this entire project wasn`t pressing the shutter—it was hearing Ivy quietly say,
"I`ve never seen myself like this before."
That`s the magic of true collaboration. Ellie`s extraordinary makeup artistry didn`t disguise who Ivy and Flo were—it simply gave them another way to see themselves. Their trust, creativity and willingness to embrace the concept transformed an idea into portraits that made all of us stop and smile.
These are two of my favourite images from the final shoot of a project that has taken months of planning, collaboration and an extraordinary amount of trust from everyone involved. There was plenty of laughter throughout the day, and by the end we knew we had created something rather special.

In the hidden world beneath the hedgerows, every stem is a ladder, every flower a destination, and every climb an act of quiet courage.
Watching harvest mice is a lesson in patience. They move with astonishing confidence through a world that seems impossibly fragile, balancing effortlessly where most creatures wouldn`t dare.
Then, for the briefest of moments, three tiny explorers meet halfway up a moss covered branch—as if sharing a secret before continuing their journey.
These are the moments wildlife photographers dream of. You can`t direct them, you can`t predict them... you simply wait, camera in hand, hoping nature offers you a gift.

Every photograph tells a story. Together, they tell mine.
Today I finally framed my Licentiateship certificate from the Royal Photographic Society, and seeing it surrounded by the ten images that earned the distinction feels incredibly special.
Each photograph represents something different—a challenge accepted, a lesson learned, a creative risk taken, or simply a moment where everything came together. From portraits and documentary work to architecture, landscapes, movement, wildlife and fine art, this panel reflects not just what I love to photograph, but the journey I`ve been on as a photographer.
Looking back, I realise this achievement was never about one image. It was about years of learning, making mistakes, seeking advice, and always striving to improve.
Photography has introduced me to remarkable people, taken me to extraordinary places, and continually reminded me that there is always something new to discover.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has encouraged, inspired and supported me along the way. You all played a part in this milestone.
Now it`s time to enjoy this moment... before turning my attention to the next challenge.

There is a quiet kind of magic that arrives with the evening.
The busy world softens, shadows grow longer, birds offer their final song, and one by one the lights begin to glow—not to banish the darkness, but to welcome it.
I’ve always believed that gardens heal us.
Not because they solve our problems, but because they remind us to slow down. To notice the scent of jasmine carried on a warm breeze. The gentle rustle of leaves overhead. The dance of light across old timber and weathered stone. To sit with a cup of tea—or perhaps a glass of something stronger—and simply be.
Every tree planted, every flower nurtured, every lantern carefully placed becomes part of a living story. A place where children build adventures, wildlife finds refuge, conversations linger long into the evening, and weary minds quietly find their way home again.
As daylight fades, the garden doesn’t disappear.
It transforms.
Into somewhere that feels almost enchanted.
