Buckinghamshire Portrait Photographer wins new award
I was delighted to be awarded a top ten place in the Guild of Photographers awards night at Crewe Hall in Cheshire. A competition open to all the 1500 members who have placed over 10,000 images for judging over the year. Each category can have up to 3 images entered every month and these are then judged by the Panel of the Guild. As a Buckinghamshire portrait and wedding photographer I am really pleased to have returned to the top ten slot having missed out in 2013 after winning in 2011 and 2012.
The Guild of Photographers Director Steve Thirsk said ‘for anyone to achieve a TOP TEN award following such a demanding and highly contested year-long judging process is a great achievement. Jonathan Hilder is clearly a very talented photographer fully deserving the Guild’s accolade!’
The Guild was formed in 1988 has grown to over 1500 members and is a highly supportive and friendly organisation and I would recommend it to everyone who runs a photographic business. They offer training, mentoring and a place where you can seek advise and ask for help. A quick post to the facebook page and you will soon have the help you need or the advice you want. Join now!
Some of my favorite images from last year taken in Italy, Derbyshire, London and Naphill. We are very lucky in the Chilterns to have so many beautiful places around High Wycombe, so why not find out where your family could be photographed this year, do you have a favorite place you would like pictures taken let me know and lets work together to get those memories for 2015.
Finally a thank you to all my customers who have supported me last year and I look forward to working with you again and check out and like my facebook page www.facebook.com/Piers.Photography
Thank you
