PiersPhoto gains 6 bronze awards in January Guild Photo Competition

Well what a week, not only did I get the emails from Steve Thirsk of the Guild of Photographers www.photoguild.co.uk that the 3 pictures that I had entered for the open section and the 3 for the Wedding Photography section of the Annual Photographer of the Year had all won bronze awards. As this is the first time I have entered their competition I was very pleased. So if you are looking for a photographer, please make sure that you check that they are qualified, do undertake training and are fully insured, make a short list and pick from those you like. This will ensure that you get the photography you want, when you want it.

Not only that my daughter also has been offered a job by Deloittes next year in London, she will be one of the 4 they take on in her chosen field. To say I am proud does not do it justice. Some people have all the luck and I am one of them, two daughters to be proud of, a wife who I adore, my health and a job that I love, it does not get much better than this!!

Now for next months competition!
